This class is designed for students 12 and under who have never taken or had only minimal ballet training technique. This class gives dancers a stronger technical foundation to enhance their performance in other dance disciplines.

This class is designed to give a good basic foundation in proper ballet technique using barre and center work. These classes emphasize the development of a good work ethic, ballet terminology and placement all while promoting self-confidence. This class is meant for dancers with some dance training ages 8-12.

This intermediate class is designed to give a good basic foundation in proper ballet technique using barre and center work. These classes emphasize the development of a good work ethic, ballet terminology and placement all while promoting self-confidence. This class is meant for dancers with some dance training ages 9-13.

This class is an intermediate/advanced level where barre and center combinations move faster, and more complex. Different rhythms are introduced. Turnout based on individual ability and strength continues to be emphasized along with posture and core strength. More types of pirouettes and jumps are learned. Proper placement is reinforced by students applying those concepts to the exercises and movements they learn. Head and arm movements are coordinated and synchronized. Memorization of steps, terminology, and musicality are further developed. Recommended ages are 11 – 16.

This class is for ages 13 and up and is an advanced level where barre and center combinations move faster and are much more complex. Different rhythms are introduced. Turnout based on individual ability and strength continues to be emphasizing along with posture and core strength. Additional types of pirouettes and jumps are learned, students are expected to have a strong understanding of terminology.

TDP: Class Descriptions

This is a perfect beginner’s dance class for 3-5 year olds! This class is structured and designed for early development of rhythm and movement. It has been developed especially for young dancers, and meets their needs and limitations by providing a carefully paced sequence of exercises, dances, stories and props to develop physical skills and patterns of movement. Children will learn self-discipline, listening skills, coordination skills, patterns in movement, all while having fun! MUST BE at least 3 Years old and potty trained. TAP AND BALLET SHOES Required.  

TDP offers high quality tumbling instruction for all levels. Beginners: starts with various rolls, all forms of cart wheels, back-bends, bridges, hand- stands & emphasis on balance & flexibility. Intermediate: skills include adding front & back limbers, walk-overs, and intro to power tumbling. Advanced: this level works on continuing basics while further developing power tumbling & aerial work, back hand springs, tucks, punch fronts, etc. They will also be working on strength and conditioning in these classes.

This combination class combines ballet, tap, jazz and creative movement. This program allows your little dancer to explore different genres of dance through music all while developing fine motor skills, flexibility, rhythm and enhancing their imagination. Whether they are twirling like a delicate butterfly or tapping away, these young dancers will begin to develop their life-long dancing skills through the magical world of dance. This class is for 5 and 6 year olds who were enrolled in kindergarten last year and will be entering 1st grade this fall. TAP and BALLET SHOES are required. 

A high-intensity beginning jazz/drill class with a focus on choreography, technique, and performance styles. Choreography integrates the use of drill style dancing. This a great class for future drill hopefuls. Get prepared for auditions NOW!

This class is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique for ages 6-12. To increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence. We focus on proper hand placement and body alignment. Students will learn not just the technique, but also what muscles and flexibility are needed to execute that technique. The program is divided into two parts: Conditioning and Skills.

In this class you will learn fundamental concepts and foundational skills for Latin styles of Ballroom Dance. The class will focus on basic techniques and dance patterns as well as timing, rhythm and partnering skills. No partners necessary. Ballroom shoes suggested but not required. The class is for ages 10 and up.

Comp Choreo

Our TDP staff as well as outside choreographers will be teaching combos that will be used in pieces for competition numbers. Once the pieces are learned we will be using this time to clean and perfect the numbers. TDP competition team is by invitation and numbers are auditioned by piece.

Moves are broken down and then put into combinations across the floor, followed by a routine in the center. This class is inspired by today's latest music and hippest trends. The dancers will learn how to isolate different parts of their bodies as well as work on coordination and flexibility. All ages are welcome. Ages 7 and up. Sneakers required.
